V&A Cinderella
I've been working with the great guys over at Lightweight Media to produce a nice little animation for the V&A Museum. Karolis Strautniekas handled illustration while I did all the character animation. The film explores the fairy tale of Cinderella, told from 4 different cultural perspectives. My personal favourite is the Nigerian tale, where our princess is swallowed by a giant frog, and vomited back up in fancy clothes – awesome. It was really interesting to discover how different each of the stories are, and yet they all share something in common – the importance of shoes. The film is now finished and is live - you can check it out here:
